In response to data gathered in the last membership survey, the BoD has developed a Sequence Guideline Committee. The Committee charter that sets forth the duties of the committee is available on the NSRCA web site in the sequence section menu (under Sequence committee, then sequence guideline committee charter). The committee does not develop sequences. They will meet in even numbered years to review the guidelines and update them, review the maneuver catalog and consider adding any new maneuvers that meet the guidelines and AMA rules, update the guidelines to allow new maneuvers if needed, and review the K factors of each maneuver to assure they are properly assigned. All the recommendations coming from the committee have to go to the Judging committee for review and approval then the BoD will publish them on the NSRCA web site and in the K-Factor for general membership review and comment. From there the comments will be reviewed by the committee and any changes made based on those comments. Then the final changes and maneuvers go to the BoD for final approval. Once approved by the BoD they will be published on the web site and in the K-Factor then they will be available to the next sequence committee for use. Any suggested new maneuvers or guideline changes should be sent to the sequence guideline committee for review and possible inclusion. The sequence committee (a totally different committee) that actually develops the new sequences will continue to meet in odd numbered years and will only be allowed to use maneuvers listed in the maneuver catalog. Any new maneuver suggestions sent to them will have to be forwarded to the next Guideline committee and go thru the approval process before they can be used. Suggested new maneuvers and guideline changes can be sent to your DVP who will forward them to the Guideline committee.
