[NSRCA-discussion] Nats scores

I would like to reiterate that all of those benifts only occurred due to the diligent and tireless and ongoing efforts by Mr. Vogel
His only real support came from Jon Carter and Al.
It’s a real wonder what has happened to all the funding that used to be available for score entry and runners?
It used to be a huge effort of many man hours to keep scoring going now its just Peter with no back up and no support (and no reimbursement)

I pose to the Directors of the NSRCA what are the plans to help with scoring in the future and who is lined up to be trained on this so that if or when Mr Vogel is not available the e scoring will continue at the NATS?

Thanks Jon and Stuart!

By the way, did anyone notice that this was the first ever NATS where scores were posted online IN REAL TIME as they happened through round 4? Slight delay for the two site contests due to the need to condense results from two sites but I think I will have that fixed for next year.

Absolutely! Seeing the scores like that is great. Can't ask for any more than seeing the final results the day after the awards banquet.

I have one question about how the Masters finalists were chosen? It looks like a standard 4 out of 6 rounds from the Prelims. If George Asteris had a final score of 8 after 4 rounds why wasn't he in the finals?

NATS final scores now posted. Note the 0.65 point difference between 1st and 2nd. I’m pretty sure that’s the closest margin ever!

You should not leave the NATS until all Flying is over so that you can be available as a judge!

Note for Monty for next year. One should not leave the Nats without knowing where one placed in the prelims – winners special handling and secrecy not withstanding!

We did not want to post scores until after the banquet because they included the junior winner of F3A. I’m exhausted and traveling today. Will post ASAP.

That said, there is a minor issue in that I can currently get the F3A scores normalized by 2018 rules OR 2017 rules but we need to use both (2018 for finals and pre-2018 for prelims and semis) so I can’t post to patternscoring until we correct that since F3A scores are all produced from one contest file with all 10 rounds of data.

I think I can split the masters prelim data out of the F3A file and post masters today...

 Question
Is there a technical problem that is keeping Nats scores from being posted for the last two days?
 Thanks, Mike Mueller
