All - I thought I’d let people know what was going on with me.

I’m getting better each day.

It turns out that, even though I was supposed to have six bypasses installed, only four were done. Surgery was completed about 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 16th.

I was released from the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center about 3:30 P.M. on Monday, January 22nd and taken to The Manor rehab facility in Niceville, FL., where I will be for the next few weeks (probably only about 2 1/2 weeks).

My youngest daughter, Karen, lives in Fort Walton Beach. She’s been my local support and has taken care of my three cats. John Fuqua has my dog, Ebony.

My middle daughter, Susan, lives near Cartersville, GA and arrived yesterday for a week’s stay.

My eldest daughter, Kathy, lives near Grand Rapids, MI and will arrive next Saturday for a week’s stay and Susan will return to Georgia.

That’s the news for now.

Ron Van Putte
