My daughter trie to post the following e=mail to the Discussion List yesterday, but it was rejected. 

 

"Good afternoon,

 

My name is Karen, I am Ron Van Putte's daughter.  He asked me to post the results of the surgery he had today.  As some of you may already know, Ron had some symptoms last Friday which caused him to go to the doctor and get checked.   After some investigation the results showed 6 blockages in his heart.  Today, he underwent bypass surgery.  The surgery went well, and they were able to put in 4 bypasses.  He is currently in recovery at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and is doing fine.

 

Please keep Ron in your thoughts. Thank you for your time.

I continue to improve, but my chest really hurts.  Thank goodness for the “heart pillow”. 

 

I should be out of here next weekend and into a rehab facility.

 

Next time I’ll  ask one of the local NSRCA members to post update messages for me.
