I go under the knife in about 4 1/4 hours and I couldn’t sleep.  

The surgeon expects that I will be out of surgery about six hours later, but won’t be conscious and functional for several more hours.  

My daughter, Karen, will be here with me during the day and the local pattern guys (John Fuqua, Curt Oberg, Rob Campbell and Mike Plummer), know how to contact her and vice versa, so you should hear the results of the surgery tomorrow.

I have warm feelings about all the supportive e-mails I received.  Thanks.
