[NSRCA-discussion] 2017 Cajun Nats Oct 13-15

We're preparing for the Cajun Nats to be held Oct 13, 14, & 15th in Crowley LA. The field will be open on Monday the 9th for practice. Thursday evening we will have the wood fired pizza and jam session around the camp fire, so bring you instrument and join in. Friday we start competition with a pilots meeting at 10:30 am and flying starts about 11:00 am. We will fly 2 rounds on Friday. Friday evening we will have the pilot and families Chicken & Sausage Gumbo dinner along with a seminar by Mark Hunt on "light weight building and repairs". Saturday we fly 2 rounds possibly 3 for some classes. Followed by the Saturday night banquet of Catfish Coubion with a live band for entertainment. Sunday we finish round 5 and fly round 6. If you can't make Friday, you can still come join us Saturday and compete, the two Friday rounds would be your drops. Trophies for 1st thru 4th.

We're looking forward to a great event this year, with some excellent flying. The competition is always intense, and the social aspect is a great adventure. The Cajun Nats is the only "Cajun precision aerobatics Fais Deaux Deaux".

>From I-10 take the East Crowley exit (exit 82) go North 1.7 miles, and the field entrance will be on the left. Campers welcome but all camping is primitive. Concession will be available at the site.

Come as a guest, but you'll leave as family and friends in the true Cajun tradition.
