EVERY plane was weigh checked at last years NATS, even my lowly Intermediate self had plane + batteries weighed in and periodic checks before/after flight that the batteries I was using had their NATS weight check sticker.

Me too. But I've decided to just ignore it. Have not even bothered to weigh the last 3 pattern planes I've had. I spent probably $6-700 extra to get two planes ready for the last Nats I went to. Didn't even get weigh checked.

Does anyone know when the next rules proposal cycle begins?



I think it is time to stretch the weight limit to at least 4 ozs over 11 lbs. for electrics in ALL the AMA classes. Tired of paying the proverbial  $100 and ounce to get there. Glow setups have an advantage. No doubt in my mind.
