Hi Matt,

Amongst the plethora of responses you received...here is some info I can
offer.

There are plenty of F3P coax systems produced and available...affordability
is of course a relative term. 100-130g is extremely heavy for any F3P plane
designed in the coax era. With light RXs (<1g), ESCs (<1g), servos (2.5 -
4g), and smaller 120 mah packs, getting below 100g is relatively easy with
most of the modern coax systems that weigh ~15g or less with 13" CF props.
The larger 15 and 16" props are lighter, more efficient, but more fragile,
and actually are not stressed for thrust loads needed from planes more than
maybe 75g.

If you can find an older Kimmo system (2s, 2 motors, 2 escs, geared), it
will have plenty of power for a 100g plane, and likely be fine up to 120g.
I did forward your email to someone that might have a Kimmo for sale.

Here is a link for Lantsov coax systems -

s

AL-16-120 2S with 13" props is a combination I have run (with cautious use
at higher power settings) and it has excessive power for a 65g plane.

The Pauzuolis website is pretty good with email, and if you want to contact
Alexey Lantsov directly, he is responsive on email alexeylan at mail.ru
<mailto:alexeylan at mail.ru> , Facebook, and RCG.

SG CRE 04 17 0.40 is one of the original coax systems and will have plenty
of power for a 120g plane.

Glavak recently posted a new pricelist this month.

glavak at gmx.net <mailto:glavak at gmx.net> is the email address, and Alex
Glavak is also very responsive on Facebook.

There is a newer coax system from Russia that was used by Dmitri Starostov
and it is for 1s or 2s, but I think 100g is pushing the upper limit for it.
Dmitri is responsive on Facebook and RCG.

Regards,

Dave

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Matthew Finley ( F3P Contra Drive )

Hello All !

Does anyone out there have a NEW or USED indoor Contra Drive set-up for F3P
they are willing to part with ? I have found it very hard finding one online
that is either still produced, in stock, or somewhat affordable...... Would
be going on a bird weighing 100 - 130 grams, running a 2s 180mah pack.
Thanks

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and a Very Happy New Year !!!
