Make plans to be at the Cajun Nats early this year. On Friday evening after the pilots dinner, Brian Hebert and Brett Wickizer will be presenting a seminar you won't want to miss. Brian will be discussing trimming and using his tools to properly set up a pattern plane. Brett will be discussing setup, importance of proper radio layout, and some of the challenges a pilot faces when preparing for a major event. From equipment issues, life issues , and mental preparation. They will be raffling off items during the seminar.

Donations will be taken at the seminar, with all those proceeds going to support Brett, and Brian's world competition event expenses.

Brian will also be premiering the new Allure Biplane at the Cajun Nats, featuring it's maiden flight..

We also are planning the Thursday night Jam Session / wood fired pizza night again this year. So if your coming early you might as well plan to join us for a really great, fun evening by the fire pit, eating great pizza and enjoying the Jams session music. If you play and instrument or sing, bring your instrument, and plan to join in. Check out the videos from last year's jam session, and banquet.

All I can say is, this year's Cajun Nats events will be worth the extra hotel cost. Hotels should be easier to get this year as the Rice festival is not on the same weekend.

As before we will have a Friday night dinner for pilots and their families, and a Saturday night banquet with great food and an awesome band. Check out the videos from last year's banquet.

Contest is October 15th and 16th, but the fun starts Thursday October 13th when the field opens for practice, and Jam night, followed by practice on Friday with the pilots dinner and seminar that evening, and Competition starting Saturday morning and winding up Sunday afternoon on the 16th.

Also check out the walk around video Brian did of last years Cajun Nats. It's also available on the CK Aero web site.
