The ProgressiveRC 4010 duo charger will also smoke if you cross the balance plugs.   Why anybody makes a charger that does not have protection against this like the Cell Pro I do not understand.

When dealing with 10s packs it is important to know which balance lead is the number one cell or the most negative. Crossing the leads plugs number six in as ground which can cause problems by creating a false ground.
