I have had the great honor of meeting Matt when he came out to visit the Bay Area many years ago & took him to our then flying field at Richmond. A great gentleman who shared with me with a lot of his flying experience & also valuable pointers on his building skills.

We kept in touch over the years through email & RCU on his great knowledge of gasoline engines but never have the opportunity to meet up again.

My thoughts & pray are with his family.

Adrian

We all know him as a competitor, a fine craftsman, and a contributor to the judging culture that we have now. He will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements are pending."
