[NSRCA-discussion] NSRCA Shirts and Hats

D5 had a nice shirt a couple of years ago.
I would suggest the basic design for each NSRCA district be the same and
just have an outline of the states in each district.
The color of the shirt will dictate the color of the design so I suggest the
color of the shirt remain the same for all districts.
I would also suggest that the shirts be produced on a JIT basis so that the
NSRCA does not have to purchase a bunch of shirts up front.
I know this will be more expensive but that is the way it goes.

What happen to light colour ;) ...different colours is nice but wouldn't
that be a lot more work coordinating it all?
The previous NSRCA that I have were white....no pocket.....

Jim,
I like that idea!! Here are my suggestions:
Div I eburnean
Div II cerulean
Div III plum
Div IV mauve
Div V puce
Div VI coquelicote
Div VII smaragdine
Div VIII glaucous
Canada amaranth
They are colors -- google 'em, young Padawan...

Back in the 80's when I was D-VP we selected a color for district shirts
(different for each district). I don't know if or how well this worked
nationally. Is this concept something that should be continued or discarded?

I would like a copy and paste of Phil selection.

I just put on my OLD NSRCA shirt yesterday. It is yellow around the neck,
the hem is in 2 parts, inside & outside with the bottom gone, etc., etc. I
would buy some shirts (2 or 3). I wear polo shirts with pocket -- won't buy
plain T's or polos without pockets. Non-white is fine with me...

It's been a while since we've sold NSRCA Shirts and Hats.
Perhaps someone would be interested in taking up such an endeavor.
We could have a separate design for each NSRCA district but they would all
be manufactured and sold through the same organization.
Half the proceeds could go to the NSRCA and the other half to the world
team.
I would prefer they be non-white (perhaps light gray) to avoid the ugly
yellowing from sunscreen and I would prefer they be the Dri-fit material.
Anyone else interested??
Thanks
Ron
