Were you taught by an EE or CS prof? FORTRAN 4 was my second language but I was taught by CS profs and so JR (especially the new stuff) or Jeti is still far more natural to me than Futaba. I recognize the HW programming paradigms in Futaba.

It fundamentally comes down to two things in my experience:
1. What was your first computer radio that you learned to program
2. If you were taught to program a computer (not a radio) were you taught by EE/ME profs or CS profs? ( if you were taught data processing in the business school and know what COBOL and SNOBOL stand for, abandon all hope). EE->Futaba, CS->JR/Jeti, COBOL/SNOBOL->Spektrum

Funny i find the 14 mz easier to program than breathing .. Maybe its the intuitive nature of the radio thats so confusing for some
Lol

It is surprising Matt. The programming is very similar to the Spektrum radios and a bit of the JR 12X and 10X. I only had to look at the manual for
some details but I did most of the programming without opening it. Way easier than the 14MZ I used the last few years.

Just my few pennies, and not to ruffle any JR owners feathers.....
I am probably going to be selling it anyways, I was just going to maybe put it in some sport planes.. I am a Futaba guy anyways.... I have tons and tons of experience programing almost every brand of radio out
there except Jeti, or Graupner and this one is like trying to program a German Tank instrument panel cluster using a Japanese written manual..... Very frustrating......

The only ones I've seen say to return it to Horizon for a full refund and buy a Futaba.
