When setting up People in a standard AMA contest, there is no need to
assign a sequence on the Contestant tab.  The edit is there for Classic
Masters (pilot selected sequences) and other special situations.  You will
notice a Help icon to the right of the field, please click it!

Note that setting the sequence here will lock that pilot into that sequence
even if the Class is configured to fly something else (such as F-17 in the
later rounds.)  For F3A, this may be a desired “special situation” which is
why the field is available for all contest formats.  In general however,
you will want to leave this blank.
