[NSRCA-discussion] Eglin AFB Contest, 27-28 June - Official Cancellation Notice

All,

I've decided to cancel the pattern contest scheduled for this weekend,
27-28 June, Eglin AFB, FL because of forecast rain and high winds.  The
rain is expected to clear up mid-morning on Saturday.  However, after the
rain stops, winds are forecast to rise, with gusts (according to
Accuweather) exceeding 25 mph.  The forecast wind direction is almost a
pure crosswind, making landings very tricky.

I apologize for the inconvenience.  Hopefully if you have a motel
reservation, you will be able to get a full refund.
