[NSRCA-discussion] Motels for Eglin AFB Contest, June 27-28

All,

I did some checking on motels in the vicinity of the Eglin contest, and
unfortunately, prices are very high.  The only event I'm aware of is the
Jade Helm 15 exercise, which may be driving the rates up.  There are some
rooms under $100 per night available in Crestview and there are a couple of
reasonable priced properties in Definiak Springs.  Both of these locations
are 20 to 30 minutes from the flying field.

The Super 8 in Crestview is currently available at $95 per night on
Priceline and in Definiak Springs, the Econolodge and Super 8 are
available starting at $70 and $79 per night on Orbitz.

Driving from Crestview is a straight shot down FL 85 to the bypass or
College Blvd and then East to 285 and then north to Site C-3.  From
Defuniak Springs, take I-10 to FL 285 and head south to about mile marker 6.
