[NSRCA-discussion] How to safely arm/disarm your motor packs?

It seem likely that given hundreds/thousands of arm/disarm cycles, there will be a few rare instances of
pilot/caller distraction or miss communication.  The presence of a visible disconnect gives us an
opportunity to correct it.

I use an arming plug.

One thing no one is considering is that your caller may not know how or have the correct tools to open your canopy to disarm your ESC.

So then you have to trust the pilot and caller to disarm the ESC before they get distracted by talking with judges or spectators.

That is why I like an external arming plug or battery cable on the outside of the plane.

Most callers know to remove an arming plug as they pickup the plane to carry it back.

My 2 cents.
