[NSRCA-discussion] UAS registration

I asked AMA about the 400 foot “requirement” and here is the answer I got back from Dave Mathewson.

“Our advice on the 400 foot issue is to simply follow the law (PL 112-95; Section 336). There is no altitude restriction in law. An AC doesn't supersede the law. I think the FAA keeps pushing this more in relation to "drone" operators than traditional modelers, and in those cases, I'm not sure it's unreasonable. I would just like to see a little more clarity in that directive.”

http://www.faa.gov/uas/registration/ has a "Register now" button that redirects to https://registermyuas.faa.gov/ <https://registermyuas.faa.gov/login> 

Note that it appears you must agree to fly below 400' in order to register.

Out of idle curiosity, how did you find this link?
There seems to be no path to it from   http://www.faa.gov/uas/registration/

Also the link below either doesn't work or can't handle the load.
