Subject: Re: [NSRCA-discussion] it gets worse
I have a real problem with this. I went through a long lawsuit under the
driver privacy protection act and won when my wife's abusive ex called the
local police department and he asked for her address, and one of the
officers in the department ran her name through the drivers license database
and gave it to him. We had gone through a lot to keep our address from him,
and the only thing that had her name and address on it was her license.
Anything else had a post office box listed on it, as the state DOT would not
allow a PO Box as an address. Not a pleasant situation when all of a sudden
he shows up at our door.
So sorry FAA, it's not worth my family's safety for any hobby, no matter how
passionate I have, and now we have been.
David
