Karl,
Good questions which need to be addressed, pattern or not. The CD's are
going to have to make sure each entrant is registered or offer a way to
have them register at the field. The registration # does not replace the
AMA # but must be contained in or on the model and accessible without
tools. Heck, AMA clubs are going to have to make sure each person flying
on a Sunday afternoon is registered. Within the NSRCA, I hope to address
this at our next board meeting to try to get y'all some answers as to how
we could/should handle pattern events. They are AMA events though so
hopefully we can get some answers for y'all through the S.I.G.
Vicente, I think the 400 ft AGL rule has always been in place per se.
