I've got a complete set of foam cores (win, stab/elev & rudder) with the "Chicago Wing Mod" for sale. These cores are beautifully done by Bob Hunt. It includes the leading edge forms for the wings and stabs, which allow you to pre-form the balsa sheeting to the airfoil, which eliminates the need for balsa stock leading edges that are typically used. You get a lighter structure, perfectly formed, with less work. The wing core leading edge is pre-slotted to add a 1/8" sq spruce or balsa stick, which is more-or-less optional. It's not needed for in-flight structural loads. The idea is to make the leading edge sturdier, basically as hangar rash prevention.
Asking $100 shipped to the lower 48.
