Matt,
Thanks!
I beleive weight is checked after every flight. Sound was only checked at processing.....to save time. Weight is apparently checked every flight to keep electrics from adding batteries for more power......of course there is nothing a glow that could change to add more power (tic).
Regards,
Dave

Dave is weight checked after every Prelim flight as well or only Semi and Final? I forget..
A couple grams isn't much. But it's the rule, to belabor the obvious.
BTW-Congrats on your fine Nats showing...
Matt

Could have been 5049 every prior flight.
Weight can increase in humid conditions...especially if flying in the rain.
Wood and foam tires can absorb a lot of water.

Dave

That's what I was thinking, doesn't make since that he fail a weight check now

There is a whole procedure they have to go thru if they initially fail, including using a second scale. That could take time. Let's hope he ultimately is OK. Kind of weird that now he would fail, this late in the game.

If that's true, his flight will be disqualified and probably knock him out of the top 10 as that was his better flight. Joseph has worked his butt off. What a crappy way to not make it.
