Duane is correct
Since the Half square loop (#5) has half roll at the end, plane will be upright before the #6 Outside loop.
Split S in general has "Half Roll" at the beginning.
So, maybe better to remove the wording "Half Roll from top"??

The Outside Loop from Top is upright entry, right? Exit should also be upright, then. Split S would be half roll to inverted, then half loop to upright.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] new Intermediate sequence question
Hi,
Want to make sure I understand this right.
I'm inverted entering maneuver 7, I half roll to upright then do half an outside loop and exit inverted. The two half rolls start and end inverted. The Top Hat is entered inverted but exits upright and I enter maneuver 10 upright.
6. Outside Loop from Top (U) 2
7. Split-S, Half Roll from Top (T) 2
8. Two (2) Horizontal Rolls (D) 2
9. Top Hat, 1⁄4 Roll Up, 1⁄4 Roll Down (T) 2 10. Vertical Upline with Half Roll (U) 2
