Here is a practically live story about the local hobby shop. We have been unable to get Joseph's F3P plane going due to some kind of timing thing going on between the Hacker motor and the speed controller.

A last minute trip to the hobby shop last night at 7:45pm yielded an Eflight Park 250 motor. Now, this was not a motor we were planning to use for the team selection, but I'll tell you what, we had to limit the high end thtottle curve to 60 percent because the motor has so much power (the airplane is pretty light). That plus we substituted a 1/16 inch mount in place of the aluminum mount and now the setup is lighter than the original Hacker setup.

Two things- first this is an awesome little motor for F3P. Second but more importantly the local hobby shop was there for us. The motor itself cost around $31.

Regards,
Don
