Jon,
What kind of interest has been shown for the "novice, non-turnaround class"?  I am all ears.

I think it's an excellent - grassroots - idea. I know many of our club members prefer horizontal turns over turnaround maneuvers of which your schedule accommodates.

I really think having a class for Sunday flying hosting club members would be great for all our contests, nationwide.

Our contest in Huntsville is only a week away.  For you FAI flyers, we will be flying P15 and F15 on Sunday, for those who want to fly F.  The Arestis are on the NSRCA website.

More info is on RCU, and you can sign up at the NSRCA District 3 website, https://sites.google.com/site/nsrcad3/home

We will have a novice, non-turnaround class in addition to the normal AMA classes. That sequence is here: http://rocketcityrc.com/Club_Events_files/Novice_Sequence.doc

The RCRC flying site will be open for practice at noon on Friday, Sept 13th.

Jon
