Pete:  I worked with early speech recognition back in the 90's, targeted at telephony apps.  One thing that typically helps with recognition accuracy is more complex phrasing, which you already have seen by replacing "back" with "back please".  More distinct syllables generally do help. Ed

yes, that's the intent of the voice training, I actually currently remember nothing from session to session, the "training" is really just tuning of the rejection parameters and is intended to be done in the actual environment where you want the caller to work for that session.  Each time you restart the app I reset the rejection parameters to the defaults.
