Hi Ron,
I have been using inrunners . With Hacker C-50 flying the Abbra the average was around 3,400-3,600. Now I am flying the Gadious with contra and Neu F3a. Consumption with this set up is around 100-200 higher. I know that I fly a little bigger than average and that could be one reason the other reason is power management. Very interested than other share their experience.
Thanks,
Vicente "Vince" Bortone

I use 2800-3000 mah in a Master class schedule. I use a Himax F3A motor turning an APC 20.5x14 prop in my Vanquish

Hi Jim,
Interesting that you use only 2000 mah . I use at least 3200 mah . The average is over 3500 mah . Probably is just the Kansas winds.

I switched to the NanoTech batteries this year.They are 5S 4000 25~50 C.
I only have 6 cycles on my four flight packs.
Usually a Masters sequence uses about 2000mah, about 50% of the battery.
They weigh 7oz+ less than my Zippys .
I've used my Zippys about 100cycles each andd they still had good power.
The cost of Nanos was about the same as the Zippys .
For my money I'll stick with Nanos !

I own two different types of Zippy lipo packs, all 5000mAH, 5S, 25C. I have 4 older copies of the "regular" pack, 4 copies of the Zippy Compact , and 2 new copies of the regular pack. I was getting the newest set ready to use and noticed they seemed heavier than the older packs. I compared them, and found the new packs to be made up of slightly thicker cells and the wires were heavier gauge . I weighed them all, and these are the results:
Old Zippy 25C: 640g/pack (45.2 oz total for two packs)
New Zippy 25C: 690g/pack (48.7 oz total for two packs)
Zippy Compact 25C: 600g/pack (42.3 oz total for two packs)
The HK website shows the weight of the regular 25C pack as 640g, they must not have not checked the new stock.
