In D1 if there is no consensus it becomes the pilots option to fly what you want on Sunday. Everyone is scored on the P scoresheet so K's are the same and pilots can fly what they are comfortable with. This way everyone gets scored for their flights and no hassles for the scorer.

Mike,
What D3 has done at some contests is fly 4 rounds of P on Saturday, then let the guys who want to fly F on Sunday do so for comparing scores among themselves (we provide score sheets to the judges and tabulate the scores), and they get zeros for the round. The guys who want to continue to fly P on Sunday can, and have their scores counted. If everyone wants to fly F on Sunday, we do so, and score as such.

Jon

I have no problem with that. I hope we get some entrants in F3A. Jason and Brett will just be back from the WC's, and Bill Ahrens badly damaged his airplane in an accident enroute to the Nats. Hopefully AC will come.

The 45th Annual Rocket City R/C contest will be held at the Capt. Trey Wilbourn - RCRC field in Huntsville on September 14-15, 2013. PLEASE NOTE: The dates in Model Aviation are INCORRECT.

The field will be open to competitors only for practice on Friday, Sept 13th at noon. The field is located at the intersection of Airport Rd and Leeman Ferry Rd within the city of Huntsville. A 600 ft paved runway, shelter, and an air conditioned clubhouse all await you. The RCRC website is http://www.rocketcityrc.com, and has more info and maps to the field. Sportsman thru Masters plus FAI will be flown. We will also add a Novice Club Class with non-turnaround maneuvers. You can pre-register at https://sites.google.com/site/nsrcad3/home/contest-registration .
