Dear all.
I received this mail from Monica Mueller this morning and I promised to
inform you all. Thank you for all the good memories, our Canadian friend.

"Dear Tom,

I regret to inform you that Karl passed away this morning. He was having
difficulties with tremors in the nursing home, so when it was time for a
radiation treatment, my mother had the doctor run some tests. It turns out
that he was in renal failure. Due to his weakened condition, he could not
undergo dialysis. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread from his spine to his
kidneys. He was lucid up until Saturday morning. He started to go downhill
after that. Despite having a more restful night last night, his breathing
became more laboured shortly after I arrived, and then he quietly slipped
away very peacefully. He is in a better place now, not having to suffer any
longer.

If you could kindly share this news with the rest of the international R/C
community, who knew him, I'd greatly appreciate it. There are no immediate
plans for a visitation or service, but there will be something later on down
the road.

Regards,

Monica Mueller (Karl's daughter)"
