Thanks for the responses. I donated this to a friend that I got involved in flying and he wanted to see if it could be electrified. I think my recommendation will still be to put the .90 OS Surpass II in it and fly it. The person that started building it really went heavy in the construction. ☹

You may alrady know about this thread, but just in case.
VMSguy had a conversion thread. it was converted from glow to electric & tricycle gear to tail dragger, dual aileron etc.

Hey all,
I’m getting ready to finish up an Ultra Sport 60 and I’m toying with the idea of converting it to electric. I’m currently at the stage of having the wing assembled and joined, and the fuselage framed. Never having done this before I don’t know if this model will be too heavy to convert or not, and if possible, what motor/battery would be appropriate.
Can you electric guys offer some insight?
