[NSRCA-discussion] Prop size - Hub ???

Larry,

Hub thickness of 20.5x14E is 15mm
There is no specific marking between the glow or electric prop.
Electric prop has smaller hole drilled (6mm), Glow props above 14 or 15" diameters usually have 8mm drilled.
There is no 20.5x14 glow prop.  only Electric.

Another Prop Question...

I bought an APC 20.5x14E. However, when the Tru-Turn Turbo Cool cone was cut, it was not deep enough. The cone was touching the front of the prop in the center point of the cut out. The width is fine.

Talking to Tru-Turn, they cut it per their profile...

Questions are:

1) What is the thickness of the hub for the APC 20.5x14E

2) What markins does it have to identify it is an electric prop and not a glow prop?

Maybe APC put the wrong prop in the package or the Tru-Turn profile is incorrect...

Setting aside the packaging being marked 20.5x14E

Here is what I bought from Tower and the package was marked as such:

I promised myself that I would not ask what kind of airplane a "qwarstion" is, but I couldn't stop myself.  Sorry.

Sorry to flip the subject matter back to airplane stuff but I have a qwarstion.

Recently running a 20x15 APC on my Neu setup.  It seems a bit fast and has plenty of punch at the top end.
Would a 21x12W Apc be a better choice if I want to slow things down a bit?

Thanks
Wayne

I've often wondered why the pattern community is so stuck on RCU, RCGroups is so much more functional AND it supports Tapatalk for mobile use...
