The only downside is that the County gave the land to the VA for a cemetery.
They are looking for a new field somewhere. Just waiting until the VA
tells them to move. The good news is that the County has committed to
building them a new flying complex like what they have now.

It's a gorgeous field, with a good paved runway that's basically east-west,
so you never look in the sun, except for very late in the afternoon. There's
paved taxiways and nice paved apron next to a big pavilion, so there's no
need to bring popup tents. The clubhouse has a great kitchen and there's
men's and women's flush toilets. Do I like the field? Yep.

Bill it's the Gateway club with you moving from St Louis could there be a
better name??? Good luck with the move. Start a pattern movement down there
and I'll get a Chicago group to go to your contest. Mike

I will be moving to Jacksonville Florida next month and was wondering if
anybody had any recommendations for clubs who fly pattern near
Jacksonville?
Thanks
