I'm curious, how did the plane weighing issue work out this year? I
know Arch was ambitious in the amount of weighing he wanted to do.

I echo what you said and I wasn't even there!! I think we should
triple Arch's salary and have him come back and do it again next year!!
Congratulations to all the participants at the Nats this year and to all
the class winners - Brandon, Steven, Arch and Andrew.

To all those volunteers that helped at the Nats as well - Tara, Scott,
Pete, site directors and staff, and judges - thank you!! From my view,
this had to be one of the most transparent events that I've seen in
years (from an internet spectator's point of view).

My son and I just returned from the Nats and had a fabulous experience.
I could go on a long diatribe about all the details that Arch got right
this year, but the bottom line is he delivered a great event and I think
deserves a huge atta boy (since that's all we really have to offer) from
everyone that participates in competitive precision aerobatics.

Everything about this event we well planned, well thought out, and well
executed. The information provided each pilot at the onset laid out
where we needed to be and when, the scoring seemed virtually instant,
results were posted both online and around the physical site VERY
quickly and all in all it seemed to run without a hitch.

And through out all of that, Arch managed to put up some stellar flying
and won the ever elusive Masters National title.

Arch - Congrats on a well deserved victory, thanks for all the effort
to provide us with a fun and controversy free competition, and a special
thanks for making my son's first experience with a nationals a pleasant
and rewarding one.

And to Tara, who visibly worked tirelessly in the scoring trailer, and
invisibly to assist and support Arch for this entire past year of
preparation, an even bigger thank you since her efforts are solely to
support us.

I know there were many people involved that need to be thanked and I'm
hoping that Arch might chime in here and list them.

Great job to all who were involved. An excellent, excellent event!!!
