[NSRCA-discussion] Drilling a hole

Yes. At one time Fox sold them (I still have it somewhere).

The mult-step reamer only works well if one of the "steps" fits snugly inside the existing hole, otherwise the follwing step may not be properly centered. In that case I think I would use a drill press with regular drill bits.

Is there such a thing as a metric step reamer?

Scott,

I use the multi-step reamer.  I suggest to do this by hand or install it the reamer in the press and turn it by hand if you want to make sure is square.  I have been doing this by hand with not issues.  I got mine many years ago from Harry ?????.  Forgot how to spell his last name.  I think is hard to find now

I'd recommend starting with a SLIGHTLY SMALLER drill bit and then working your way to larger sizes . . . .
.
You may find it doesn't work so well trying to drill a smaller hole starting with a larger one . . .
.
But things may work differently in Texas . . .<330.gif>

Do you start at a size slightly larger than the diameter of the whole and then work my way up to 10mm for the Neu motor?. . .
