GREAT TOPIC!!!

We already have decals being printed and we also have laser cut stick planes too. Shirts won't be far behind.

We're working on the website now (very much just under construction... www.TeamUSAF3A.com<http://www.TeamUSAF3A.com>) and I'll definitely look into your donation suggestion. In the meantime, I'm happy to remind you every week!!!

We have a few other things planned... I'll be making an effort to post here often and drum up support.

Some ideas for people... We would love those of you running contests to consider either A) running a 50/50 raffle for the team, B) consider donating any contest profits to the team fund

I'm also going to be sending a letter via the AMA to ALL club presidents asking clubs to make a donation. Needless to say this will fall mostly on deaf ears, but for those clubs that have pattern flyers in them, (thats YOU guys) I'm hopeful that you can bring this up at a club meeting and see if they'll consider a donation. $20/$50/$100... goes a long way if we can get 50 clubs to do that. We've already had some clubs donate $500... so there's money to be gotten.

More later...

Hey Mark,

It would be really cool if you would allow us to set up a recurring donation, I'd happily donate every 2 weeks from the portion of my paycheck that goes to my personal checking account for hobby money, but I'm notoriously bad about remembering to go to a website to spend money when I'm not ordering toys for myself :-) If just 183 other folks contribute $25 every 2 weeks that's about the 60K you need by next summer. (13+ pay periods * 184 = 2400 * 25 = 60000).

It would also be awesome if you could sell some nice vinyl stickers of the team USA logo maybe with an "I Proudly Support" added into the graphic somewhere artistically appropriate to distinguish supporters from competitors... Feel free to price gouge so that the sale of the stickers is a profitable operation...

We'll survive. It's correct in the Oct/Nov and December issues (per my article) so hopefully it won't be an issue. We're just getting back to start working on it again and hopefully making it a more permanent site. The purpose for changing the URL was to put it in sync with a host of other FAI Team sites (TeamUSAF3A, TeamUSAF3B, TeamUSAF3J, etc...)

Does anybody know the correct address for the F3A team website?

www.F3A.us<http://www.F3A.us/><http://www.F3A.us/> <http://www.f3a.us/> doesn't seem to be working.
