If it was as simple as blaming you for the purchase, I would have a new 18MZ instead of the 12Z, and maybe a new SUV and a couple very expensive pattern planes.......   think it will work?

For anyone in the market for a new radio, Tower has the Futaba 12Z on 
sale for $825 and no shipping cost. In terms of functionality as opposed 
to user interface, this radio gives up very little to the 14MZ and 18MZ.
