Hi All,

 

Glad your liking seeing the old plane out flying again. In 18 CPA events
this year we have not had any noise issues.   Jay is correct SPA does not
allow Pipes & retracts and have a plane cutoff date of 1975 and prior.   CPA
flies the AMA published  patterns from the era and yes pipes and retracts
are encouraged but not required.  There are Contest / Events  coast to
coast.  I have heard from Jim Quinn and he will be having several CPA events
in the NY/PA area.    

 

We will be announcing the new patterns being flown in 2013 on the CPA
website  www.classicpatternassociation.com in the next few days.  The CPA
members are voting on it right now.
