I wouldn't be surprised to see JR change distributor for the Americas...I
can't imagine who though.

Horizon did an announcement last week, they are still the exclusive
distributor of JR in the US, they carry the new XG radios and the WV servos.
They call the partnership with JR 'stronger than ever' but JR has decided to
standardize their product worldwide. DMSS is no longer Spektrum RX
compatible. I think JR was losing revenue in RX's because people haven't
perceived a difference with the Spektrum products. Time will tell if that
was a good idea or not...

JR has had their own 2.4 system outside the US for sometime, the first I'm
aware of being DSMJ, which has been around since 2010. Horizon has always
differentiated the JR products it carries from those sold in other
countries, either thru firmware differences, model number differences, or
different features. The website you link to also shows a new series of wide
voltage servos, including brushless ones, that I have not seen advertised
here.

You bring up a good point about Horizon's plans for JR in the US. They seem
to be deemphasizing JR and pushing the Spektrum brand more and more. Would
be interesting to know what the future holds.

It looks like JR decided to separate from Spektrum by going Dual Modulation
Spectrum System.

Combination of DSSS & FHSS.

New XG series 6ch, 8ch, 11ch radio have been introduced. All became a
member of Hasbro Transformers?

Following the Hitec? Two way communications (Telemetry built-in). I am not
talking about the AMA rule. Just curious why telemetry is so important on
new systems. I've never had a need for Telemetry capability of Spektrum.

Has anyone of the Team JR members tried the new system yet? Felt any
Differences?

Not sure if it is a wise decision on US marketing purpose. Not compatible
to DSM2/X. Maybe there is a new US distribution for JR beside Horizon?

Those of you who went to Toledo. Did you have a chance to try any of above
beside new DX10T, DX18?
