I would like to add my thanks to Dave and all of his hard working helpers for a fantastic contest. It was good weather, good friends, good flying, a good time, and a good way to start the season.
Also, I will accept everyone's thanks for my efforts to kill all of those pesky insects at the field.

Elongated Double Immelman........ Sounds like a personal problem. You should have that checked out!

If he is doing elongated double immelmans, then he is ready to jump to Masters and FAI. I think all of the top pilots stretch that maneuver....I know all the ones I judged at the NATS last year did...:)

Many of us should also thank Greyson for allowing us to judge his stick plane performance of the sportsman pattern. I know Dave Snow and I were a little tough on him for the elongated double immelman with no rolls, but tough love never hurts! I think he has it down Pritch......time to get him a pattern plane and let him begin the process that will have him kicking all of our butts a few years down the road. Your boy has great skills....and only 7 years old. Of course, Greyson will have to learn to put a straight line before each maneuver, or, as well all learned at the seminar, he will be subjected to a ________ pt downgrade on the _________ maneuver.
Answers anyone? Just want to see who was paying attention :-)

In addition, I would like to personally thank all of you for the kindness shown my boy..... he had a blast and is ate up with it! So nice to have Brandon there so Grey could see another youngster gettin' it done!

Thanks to Dave Johnstone and everyone responsible for putting on this contest. It was another great event, and for the first time since I have been back in pattern, we got this one in without seeing Easy-Ups in tangled piles along the pits. It did rain, but only during the awards presentations.
Special thanks to all those that purchased F3A team shirts. It was great to see that so many of the participants had supported the team. Your support of our US Team is much appreciated. We will continue to sell shirts at upcoming events, and don't be shy about just making a donation to the US Team fund through the AMA (be sure to designate your gift to the F3A Team). We have a great group representing us, and they could use our support to help offset the costs of participation. Though the event is in the U.S. this year, there are still considerable costs associated with participating. Thanks again to all that have already donated.
It was great to see everyone and I look forward to seeing you all again in a few weeks in Chicago land.

> Wow what a great event. All of us went having little or no expectations. For once the weather was perfect in Muncie. The rain held off till the awards were presented.
> Smoking hot flying too for this early in the season and as little practice as we have all had. Thanks all, Mike

Strong crosswinds combined with rusty skills, new airplanes, and new sequences made for a fun-filled weekend. The weather in this part of the country has kept us from the practice field with rain practically every day this Spring. The pattern gods were smiling this weekend as the weather let us get the Judging Seminar and a full 6 round contest in before the rain showers moved in on the area.
