Thanks!! Chris doesn't have the PT's in stock so I'm going to try an APC from the local hobby shop.

I'm flying Advanced this year. Hoping this tracks a little better than my Vanquish II for practice.

The PT Models 16x10 CF prop is the best prop that I have flown on this setup so far. Downside $45 prop. Definitely lighter than the APC 16X10 equivalent. It will fly the Masters sequence. I put like 40 flights on it during the fall. The starting weight for this plane was 7 lbs. By changing ESC, prop, eliminating rx battery, eliminating wheel pants and lighter wheels I got it down to 6.75 lbs.

Someone asked what servos I used. 8411SA rudder, 3421SA on elevators and stabs.

There was a comment about 6S and 5S on the Osiris and Wind. Simple solution, if you fly it 5S use the Hacker A50 12S. For 6S the A50 16S I believe.

I agree with Joe. My son is flying an Osiris with that exact setup in Intermediate, but I have flown it through every sequence including both P-11 and F-11 and it performs very well with plenty of power on the 5s Pack. I flew it for a while on a 15x10 prop, and while it performs well, it lacked the power necessary for the vertical demands of Masters and FAI.

Back at ya. . . slow news day in pattern land. <Anyone know any good jokes?>

Anybody out there flying an Osiris? Getting ready to pull the trigger on one. Osiris vs. Wind 50? Want to stick with 5S-5000 battery packs.
