Jon, as you mentioned, the XP can charge at higher rates but you need a higher voltage power supply to be able to use this feature. The XP can also discharge packs to storage voltages, the 10S does not have this feature.

I need to buy another charger. Assuming I'm only going to charge Lithium based batteries with it, is there any advantage to the 10xp over the 10s? I don't need the ability to charge other chemistries. I've read the article in the Kfactor, but maybe I'm missing the big selling point of the XP for our needs. I'm assuming that most of you are charging at 1C or less, so any faster charge rate of the XP isn't necessary.
