Just letting everybody know Michael Ramsey of Model Aviation is interested
in publishing a pattern article by me. Evidently pattern is near and dear to
Michael's heart, he mentioned he worked himself up though the ranks to
advanced, not long ago. Rather than re-print what has already appeared in
the K-Factor I'm going to write about my experience at the D8 championship
in Richland, WA last weekend. Since this was the last contest of the season
and my last contest entering as a Sportsman, this article will be written as
an encapsulation of my entire rookie season. Understandably, whatever I
write still needs to be accepted etc. before being published. But,
regardless of what happens, thank you all for nudging me in this direction
and a special thanks to my readers. Hopefully my work will help spark some
interest in our sport with other modelers.
