  No, we had all new schedules this year, both Prelim and Finals.  They do fly 2 unknowns in the finals as well and those are created by the pilots as a group the night before.

   

  We'll fly the same sequences in 2011 (P-11 and F-11) until the world champs after which the schedules change to P-13 and F-13 to begin preparing for the 2013 world Champs.

  FAI is also on a two year schedule, just out of phase with AMA.  They are flying the 2010-2011 schedules now.  They change after the world championships.

I just got back last night and I'm playing catch-up.I expected a proposal to change masters annually as soon as control wasreleased from the AMA two-year cycle, but not this soon.FAI offers a new schedule every year that should be sufficiently challengingfor anyone, don't they?We still may need refresher / annual judge training to understand andstandardize how these new sequences need to be judged as well asindoctrinate new judges.Judging criteria is loaded with important details, some of which tend tofade or get neglected during the flying / judging season.
