It does need the motors. It will taxi but not get the tail off the ground with just the leaf blower. In fact, I have to approach to land with about half power on the motors. It weighs 20 lbs, and those are Kadet Senior wings. :-)

That was really cool.  Did you need the extra motors?  Will it fly on air from the leaf blower only?
