Any applicable web sites, (like a club web site) maps to the field, etc., contest flyers, whatever?

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] D1 vs D2 Challenge, June 19-20 Hollywood, MD
After talking with Ed Alt (D1) and Larry Kauffman (D2), this contest is on. I have been fortunate to be part of several of the D4-D5 shootouts in the past and I can say they are always some of the most fun contests as it becomes a "team" sport for a weekend. When I moved here to Maryland last fall, several of the club members mentioned they would like to have a pattern contest and due to our location it will be perfect for this contest. Most of the pilots in D1 and D2 should be within a 6 hour drive. A few will be more, but most should fall in that area. Myrtle Beach is a little over 6 hours, and NYC is about 4 1/2. Below are some details. The club is about 45 miles south of DC and just north of Lexington Park, MD, home of Pax River NAS. There are MANY hotels and restaurants within 10 miles of the field. Field is well cut grass in a state park and will be open all day Friday, June 18, for practice. The plan is for a Saturday dinner on Solomons Island at one of the great Seafood restaurants since the weekend is father's day weekend. So bring your dad and head on down.
For hotels search California, MD
Pre-registration is now open, you can email me at astafford at md.metrocast.net or reach me on my cell at 301-247-9298
We will be flying F-11 on Sunday. We will keep 3 rounds of P from Saturday and the best F round on Sunday.
Date: June 19-20, 2010
Location: Hollywood, MD
