More specifically....many good RC clubs, lots of pattern flyers, 3 contests this season all on outskirts of Houston...lots of nice housing communities to choose from.

I may have the occasion to spend a considerable amount of time in the Houston area over the next few months, how is the RC, and more specifically, the pattern scene down there? Is it a good area for flying. For those who live in and around the area, is it a good city to live in?
