[NSRCA-discussion] D$ vs. D5 Shootout lodging

Suffer… That’s funny. It’s his wallet that will suffer when the amount and frequency of lobster dinners goes WAY up in conjunction with contest attendance.

Don’t worry Anthony, she’ll shop the odor away.

Here’s where flying Electric is a problem. In the past you could just break in a new piston and sleeve in the room and then all you’d be able to smell is the fragrant scent of burnt nitro. Talk about romance…

I'll switch rooms with you if the smoking thing is a big problem. I don't care either way and I'd hate to see you suffer. Mike

After finding NO reasonably priced rooms in the surrounding area I called them back and booked the last room they had for the weekend. I will end up paying almost double what everyone else is paying (that's what I get for waiting to book it) but at least I won't have to sleep in the doghouse. I'm still going to get dirty looks for booking a smoking room but I will just make lemonade (metophorically speaking). As soon as the wife turns up her nose at the lingering smell of tobacco, I will go BAM!!! and pull out the scented candles (at least I think that's a candle).

Cue the romantic music and score one for the Green Team.

Solution. Mickey has a room at Days Inn for Friday night that he's trying to someone to take over. That's one night at least. Mike

Start searching frantically. There’s a national softball tournament in town this weekend and rooms are filling up fast.

Looks like I wated too long. That location is booked solid, the only thing left is a smoking king and that is $88 bucks a night. Not to mention Margretta will give me the stink eye all weekend if I book a smoking room.
What is the second choice?

Does anyone have a good lead on lodging for this weekend's D4 vs. D5 shootout in Muncie?

See you all this weekend.

Anthony
