All the credit goes to Dave.  His kit is very well engineered.  Great structural strength.  Even moderate quality wood yields a good wing.  If you take care to get good sheeting then you'll be in the same range I'm in.  And the way it locks together getting a straight wing and razor straight trailing edge is pretty simple.  I think he's found his new calling in life...
