So just the SA versions are discontinued? I'll have to talk to the LHS again, and see if they can order the metal gear version.

It has been mentioned that the SA servos have been discontinued but the metal gear versions can be converted to the SA versions with a set of nylon gears.
JR now sells the conversion set JRPS8411SAC.  The 8231 gear set has also been mentioned to convert the 8411 to 8411SA (output gear is not replaced).  Both items are probably the same.

9411's can be converted to SA's with the 911 gear set.
