I think the 6 and 8 are the same as far as the voltage board goes, so either
is fine. I'll be happy to reimburse you for the shipping cost. Just let me
know and I'll PayPal you the cost, or send you a check.

Tony,

Nothing. I suppose it doesn't matter whether its's a 6 or an 8?
You want me to pull the board? Or do you have a display of fossilized
Futaba equipment in the shop you could add this stuff to? It's not doing me
any good. I just hate throwing old equipment away.

Great! All I need out of it is a voltage regulator PCB which is a long
board inside the TX that the battery pack plugs into.. So, what do you want
for the TX?

Tony,

I've now found an 8JN as well. It still has a "1984 RENO NATS XMIT CHECK"
sticker on it. If you need them, I can probably come up with chargers and
receivers. Both of these have AM modules- 72.240 and the other has channel
46.

WOW !

How many guys in the service industry would go to such great lengths to
fulfill the desires of a customer.

I'm greatly impressed.

I have a customer with an old Futaba 8JN transmitter that he want to use.
It has a bad encoder PC Board, and is un-repairable. Does anyone out there
have one of the old TX's laying around that they would part with for parts
to help this guy out? Please e-mail privately to tony at radiosouthrc.com

Thanks!
